Greetings, wonderful pet parents! I'm Alexis, and I'd love to share with you the incredible journey of Rawsome Revolution. Our story began over six years ago, and it has been quite an adventure. Our passion for raw food emerged from the unfortunate circumstances surrounding a word nobody wants to hear: CANCER. While it may seem like a common story due to the alarming cancer rates, it is one that resonates with us and many others.
The turning point came when we lost our beloved dog Lily, at the young age of 7. It became clear to me that we couldn't continue feeding Luna our Dane puppy the terrible kibble. Then, one night, I had a dream that making raw food could be both cost-effective and simple. However, reality proved to be quite different. After countless hours of shopping, chopping, and packing, Luna wouldn't even touch it. I felt defeated and almost gave up, but I decided to try one last thing: grinding the ingredients. Miraculously, that worked! So, I invested in a grinder and started making food for friends and family.
Soon enough, I discovered a wholesale meat distributor. My tiny car would be filled with cases of meat, ready to be ground as soon as I arrived home. Within a few months, I was grinding 400 pounds of food every month. As word spread, I expanded my reach to my neighbors and community, many of whom are still our loyal Rawsome customers to this day!
Who We Are
We are a passionate and dedicated team of pet lovers who have experienced firsthand the profound impact that proper nutrition can have on our furry companions. Our journey began with the loss of our cherished dog, Lily, to cancer. This devastating event sparked a deep desire within us to uncover the truth about pet nutrition and make a positive change in the lives of pets everywhere.
Through extensive research, personal experiences, and canine nutrition certifications we have gained a wealth of knowledge about the importance of feeding our pets a natural, wholesome diet. Armed with this newfound understanding, we made the switch to a raw diet for our own pets, and the results were truly remarkable.
Inspired by the transformative effects we witnessed in our own furry friends, we have made it our mission to share our knowledge and experiences with others. We believe that every pet deserves a chance at a vibrant and healthy life, free from the harmful ingredients often found in commercial pet food.
With a deep commitment to pet wellness, we strive to educate and empower pet owners to make informed decisions about their pets' nutrition. Our goal is to provide high-quality, natural pet food options that promote optimal health and longevity.

A dream job
I have always been passionate about animals, and it took me several years of exploring different majors at various schools and universities to find my true calling in life. None of my previous pursuits felt quite right until I delved deeper into the world of raw feeding. Through extensive online courses and reading, I discovered the prey model diet, which resonated with me on a profound level.
Once I made the decision to pursue this path, I sought out a co-op to secure better deals, and unexpectedly found an amazing business partner. Although she is no longer involved with Rawsome due to personal reasons, she will always be a part of our story, and I consider her as family.
During our first year in business, we worked tirelessly, balancing our daytime jobs and grinding away until the early hours of the morning. I can honestly say that I don't miss those days. We started with small table-top grinders until we could afford our robust grinder, which we acquired in 2021.
Rawsome was built on the core values of determination and the pursuit of the American dream. We didn't rely on loans or investors to start our company. Instead, we used our own hard-earned money and climbed our way up in this industry. Every achievement we've made has been through sacrifice, taking risks, and sheer hard work.
